HLTAID014 is the national training package for advanced first aid. This course is designed for individuals who want to gain advanced knowledge and skills in first aid, and it covers a wide range of topics including advanced airway management, advanced wound management, and the management of major medical emergencies.
The course typically involves a combination of classroom-based instruction and hands-on training, and it is typically completed over a period of one day. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to provide advanced first aid in a range of situations, including when professional medical help is not immediately available.
One of the key advantages of HLTAID014 advanced first aid training is that it provides participants with the skills and knowledge to manage major medical emergencies. This includes things like heart attacks, strokes, and allergic reactions, which can be life-threatening if not treated promptly and correctly.
Additionally, the course also covers advanced airway management, which is crucial in cases where someone is unconscious or not breathing properly. Participants will learn how to properly assess and manage an airway, including the use of airway adjuncts and suction devices.
Overall, HLTAID014 advanced first aid training is an essential course for anyone who wants to be prepared to handle major medical emergencies. Whether you are a healthcare professional, a member of the community, or a workplace first aider, this course can provide you with the knowledge and skills to save lives.
This course is for students with existing First Aid experience or for those who are new to First Aid and comfortable learning in a blended delivery setting.
